You find a cabin ransacked with no one inside.
It’s time to inspect that neighboring lumber mill downhill.
360-degrees Design Approach
The outpost is able to be approached from many angles and account for multiple playstyles.
Whether it’s mindlessly storming the front gate on your ATV or carefully sneaking your way through in various ways.
Conveying the lumber mill theme (Believable space)
Even though games tend to have (and are allowed to have) creative liberties regarding their depictions of real-life environments, making an environment logical will help keep the player immersed. That’s why when designing the layout of the mill, I put equal effort into both the game play as well as making it look like a real lumber mill that could operate.
